He wrote and published “How to Turn Your Million Dollar Idea Into a Reality” in 2007.
Is Pete Williams for Real?
Pete was the Southern Regional Finalist for Ernst and Young’s “2010 Entrepreneur of the Year.” He owns several offline businesses, including Infiniti Telecommunications and On Hold Communications. He also runs Stitch Software, Preneur Group and Simply Headsets.
Williams is most famous for selling off framed pieces of the Melbourne Cricket Ground to fans.
How Does He Get It All Done?
When his phone business took off, Williams faced a big problem – rapid growth called for either more leverage or more employees. He hired a ton of employees which created a lot of overhead. As he scaled back, Williams ended up working like a slave “in” his business to keep up. He realized there had to be a better way, and he started looking for ways to leverage his efforts.
He started focusing on core tasks, finding software solutions that would help him leverage what he was doing and he applied several very cool rules to any new system he came up with (he talks about them in the ProfitHacks videos).
What’s Profit Hacks
Profit Hacks is a course that Williams put together with Rich Schefren (of Strategic Profits) where he shows you how he can get about 6 days worth of work done in about 6 hours by strategically focusing his efforts.
There are a lot of productivity and time management courses on the market, but what I like about ProfitHacks is that they give you the “how to” information that most courses lack…
This is important.
Some courses say, “Hire outsourcers to handle the tasks where you don’t add any value.” Pete’s course doesn’t just tell you “what to do” or “why to do it” – he says, here’s the exact job description script I use to find the person I’m going to hire and here’s the exact job instructions I give to the person – just download it and use it for yourself.
By giving you the “how”, Williams greatly increases the odds that you will take action and he saves you a boatload of time (something any good productivity system should do).
